Aging- Poem

Aging

By Ben Fetterman

It is strange how aging works,
Especially in a legal sense.
How one day, if I were to have a drink
With a certain alcohol content,
I could end up fined and in counselling.
But if I wait until the next day,
Which happens to be my birthday,
I could go to the police station
And down a fifth of whiskey,
And face no repercussions.
